  Music Box
    The Music box will randomly play a song in the playlist. You may select a song that you wish to listen to or wait for the current song to end and another song will be choosen.

    I am now using a custom build of the real helix server to stream mp3's from my site. This is a change over the previous method of downloading .rm files.

Benefits

  • Quicker startup of songs
        Previous delays that occured while waiting for a song to start are gone. Because the server streams you do not have to download the complete song to begin listening to it.

  • Stereo
       The first major change to the audio quality is that songs are now played in stereo.

  • Better audio quality
       Audio quality is enhanced by encoding the stream depending upon your available bandwidth. Higher bandwidth connections will get up to the original mp3 audio quality.

  • Shuffle play
        The shuffle play feature gives the music box a radio station feel.When the currently playing song ends another randomly selected song from the playlist will begin playing.
